The Damien Wager Afternoon Tea - £18.50 per person
Head Chef Carla Joined as a part of the opening Team in December 2017. She has spent the last 15 years cooking in some of the UK’s top kitchens. Trained by Pierre Koffmann in London, Carla then returned to her home country of Wales to be Sous Chef at The Fairy Hill Hotel on the Gower peninsular.
"I am delighted to join The Stanton Manor Hotel right at the start of its journey, with new owners and a public area refurbishment. I plan to use the gardens at Stanton Manor as much as possible and will be offering a la carte and 5 course tasting menu options in the restaurant.
I have been cooking for as long as I can remember and with this as my first Head Chef position I really want to put The Stanton Manor firmly on the culinary map."
The Bar and Snug
The front of the bar has been made from 18th century church paneling and it the sort of bar you want to spend time in. There are seats along the bar, high tables and chairs to relax in and low soft seating to choose from.
Lunch and dinner are served in here should you want a more relaxed environment.
The snug is our guest drawing room and has lots of soft seating to relax in. Imagine a dark and moody drawing room in an old manor house and you will transport yourself to our snug room. If you need to get some work done on a laptop in a quiet corner then this is the perfect spot.
